Century Launches an Innovative Unlocking System to Enhance Security and Support Self-service Checkout

Century, the world’s leading supplier of innovative EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance), RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) products, systems and solutions is now launching AutoDetacher CER036, a unique unlocking security detacher to complete AutoTag T244 series including RFID reading of the ID when detaching them from their shell pins.

AutoDetacher RFID (CER036) is a smart unlocking security detacher independently designed, developed and patented by Century. The detacher integrates RFID reading and EAS unlocking functions. It has an indicator light, a prompt tone and data interface. It can jointly operate with the self-service checkout platform, to complete the self-service checkout and to unlock the special Autotag RFID encoded hard tags that are protecting the goods.
