During the recent lockdown due to the pandemic threat, in China people staid indoor, at their homes, from February 2020 on, to avoid contagion. Alibaba's supermarket chain Freshippo withstood the severe challenge: The RFID logistics distribution system successfully processed 300% of the orders' growth.

Freshippo, which has about 200 stores across the country and is known as Hema in Chinese, leverages data and smart logistics technology to seamlessly integrate online-offline systems. The company can provide the incomparable service of delivering fresh-food, in only 30 minutes release time.

CENTURY has been for long time participating in the development of the Freshippo smart-delivery system.
